LOVE
Love so true; pure; overwhelming; unconditional and beautiful; love I have never experienced.
I was bitten, battered, broken, destroyed, hopeless, scared and had no place to run to. With a lost identity and dignity, filthy and as dirty as a pig, I roam the streets with nobody willing to help.
Then He came in His beautiful royal apparel and a charming smile. He stretched forth His hands and said to me: “Come! Come, I will give you rest.”

I’m sorry, are you talking to me? Look at me closely mister. I’m a dirty, smelling and filthy being. I’m not worthy to be with or associate with royalty. You are royalty and I am just a worthless girl, without a sense of direction or purpose. I have found solace in this world of mine. Coming with you is the last thing I would do. Just go!
He said further: “I have come for people like you, so you can find yourself and understand your place. I don’t mind having you around me because yu are important to me”
No, go away!
He came closer and held me in a warm embrace and said to me, “you are not filthy. No matter how dirty you think you are, I love you still. You are a royal priesthood, a chosen generation and a perculair person”.
He showed me the love I have never experienced; I couldn’t get over it. He went all out just so that I am able to see my true image – a reflection of the Godhead. He took me off the streets and cleaned me up. Looked past my shame, guilt and showered His love on me.
He showed me unconditional love and now I understood what it means to love.
Love is selfless.
Love does not boast of itself.
Love endures long and is patient and kind.
Love is never envious nor boils over with jealousy,
It is not arrogant and inflated with pride.
Love is not rude and does not act unbecomingly.
Love does not insist on its own rights or its own way, for it is not self-seeking.
Love is not resentful; it takes no account of the evil done to it.
This is the God kind of love. Jesus is calling you today, just open the doors of your heart to him.
