After an accident, Jessica, a 25-year-old lady, was still learning to sit up without pain. She nearly died in an accident a few weeks ago, but by God’s grace, she survived. After a few weeks, she started healing, though slowly, but she was recovering rapidly. The Doctor who has been caring for her advised her to take medication to speed up her recuperation. However, she battled each time the medicines were put in front of her. She hesitated because of the flavor, the recollection of the hospital bed, and her physical frailty.

One day, while she was battling the with drugs, the woman who had made accommodations for her pending the time she would recover much better, because she needed to stay away from sounds or noise, which was unavoidably in her neighborhood, looked at her and said, “You better pray that you won’t give birth to your children through CS (Cesarean Section), you will have many drugs to take, since you are struggling to take these little ones here.”

There was silence in the room.

That was a startling comment. She didn’t welcome it because it wasn’t what she had anticipated hearing. When the time comes, she wants to give birth naturally, calmly, and without difficulty.

She didn’t shrink or remain silent at that moment. God’s word was used by her to dispute it instantly: “Thank God you said I should pray, ma. Giving birth through CS will not be my portion since I have already prayed for it a long time and God’s word has guaranteed me that I would give birth like the Hebrew women, not through CS.

I will give birth peacefully and naturally.”

A few years later, she got married and gave birth to two boys and two girls, and they were all given birth naturally, not through CS.

This is the power of THE BOLD TONGUE.

Understanding that words are seeds is crucial. Any words said over your life are like seeds being sown in the ground for your future. Inappropriate words will spread if they are not promptly eradicated. Additionally, poor seeds produce bad fruits. Any crop’s fruit quality is determined by the type and quality of seed that is planted. Don’t be shocked when, years later, you begin to reap the consequences of allowing fear, doubt, and negative decrees to infiltrate your life. The devil can talk without your consent. All he needs is your quiet consent. Be Brave Enough to say “NO” Early enough, say “NO” to the devil. Have the courage to say NO

Say “NO” to the devil early enough.

Be bold enough to say “IT WON’T HAPPEN” to the devil early enough.

Be bold enough to scream “NOT ON MY WATCH” to the devil early enough.

Don’t wait until the seed has grown into a tree. Uproot it the moment it is spoken, because those words, if left unchecked, will become stumbling blocks to your advancement and growth in life.

Every forecast, every prophecy, and every thoughtless statement that is flung at you need not be accepted. Words spoken into your life are under your control. Proverbs 18:21 states, “Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.” This implies that you will eventually taste the fruit of what you say and what you let people say about you.

CONCLUSION

you are aware of God’s word regarding you. You are aware of what He has spoken. Therefore, don’t nod when words spoken over your life conflict with what God has said. Don’t be silent; respond to it right away with a forceful tongue. Declare that what God has spoken will not be fulfilled.  Do it boldly, just like the woman who used God’s word to refute the other woman. Open your mouth and erase all incorrect seeds.

Declare your life. Declare yourself healed. Make a peace declaration.

Declare the word of God, for the silent person accepts anything. But what grows depends on whoever dares to speak up.

Talk with courage. Make an early cancellation. Declare the word of God. Say “It won’t happen,”
