Showing gratitude has benefits or advantages both to the person showing appreciation and the person receiving it. Gratitude improves the well-being of the giver and the recipient. Gratitude helps people feel more positive emotions, relish good experiences, improve their health, deal with adversity, lower levels of depression, and build strong relationships.
